About Me
Hi, my name is Michael. I have worked in the NHS for many years and have supported numerous children, families and schools to provide opportunities to maximise each child’s communication.
I aim to be neurodiversity-affirming in my practice. My focus is on connection, regulation and interaction, rather than compliance-based and behavioural approaches. In the last few years I have developed a special interest in gestalt language processing and Marge Blanc’s Natural Language Acquisition approach for both autistic and non-autistic children. It’s a topic I love to learn about and share as widely as I can.
